Horizon 2020

Horizon 2020 started with the first calls on 13th December 2013. Running from 2014 to 2020 with a budget of about 70 billion € the programme strives to overcome the European socio-economic crisis by boosting competitiveness through innovation, smart and sustainable growth. Research and innovation are supported as “key engines” to deliver jobs, raise prosperity, enhance the quality of life in inclusive societies and develop global public goods on local, regional and international levels.

Programme

The workshop will focus on how to maximise a project's impact, by designing an effective communication and dissemination strategy and by creating cross-disciplinary alliances with policy makers and stakeholders in a HORIZON 2020 project.This includes hands-on experience in designing communication and dissemination strategies. The Workshop speakers are Jon Rea (Nottingham City Council), Dr. Mark Edwards (tbc), Dr. Annette Klinkert (city2science) and Rita Clancy (EURIDA).

Registration for our 2-day strategy workshop is now open. Seats are limited so please make sure you register in time. The participation fee for the 2-day workshop is EUR 550.- (excl. of VAT). There is an Early Bird participation fee of EUR 500.- available for participants who register until 28th April 2014. Fees include comprehensive workshop material and meals during the workshop. Workshop venue is the Quadriga-Forum in Berlin which is located in the beautiful Berlin City Centre East.
